Using MyMathLab (MyStatLab)

This page was updated on: August 21, 2017.

MyMathLab (MyStatLab), a Pearson Education "My Lab and Mastering" product, is an online interactive learning environment that is required for my sections of all courses using Pearson Education textbooks.

Main features:

  • Online homework exercises with immediate feedback to tell you whether your answers are correct, and a variety of help capabilities when you have questions or when your answers are incorrect.
  • A personalized "Study Plan" with links to multimedia presentations and additional exercises in areas where you need more practice.
  • An online version of the textbook, with multimedia presentations (videos and animations) to explain topics further.
  • Additional resources (e.g., on study skills, note taking, time management, etc.) to help you succeed in college.

For more information on how MyMathLab applies to your course, please refer to your Course Syllabus.

To use MyMathLab/MyStat Lab you will need:

  • An access code, included with new editions of the textbook sold in the Morton College Bookstore or available for purchase separately in the Bookstore or online.  Every student must have his/her own access code.  Be sure you buy an access code for the correct product (i.e., MyMathLab or MyStatLab). If you already have a valid access code for the textbook being used in your course, you do not need to buy another access code.
  • A computer with internet access (you may use computers on campus if you do not have internet access at home) and an email address that you check daily.  The College provides an email address for every student if you do not already have one.

For more information about using MyMathLab in your course, go to the Courses page and click on the name of your course.
