MyMathLab Required
MyMathLab, a Pearson Education "My Lab and Mastering" product, is an online, interactive learning environment that is required for homework and quizzes in this course.
To use MyMathLab you will need:
- An access code, included with new editions of the textbook sold in the Morton College Bookstore or available for purchase separately in the Bookstore or online. Every student must have his/her own access code. If you already have a valid MyMathLab access code for the textbook used in this course, you do not need to buy another access code.
- A computer with internet access (you may use computers on campus if you do not have internet access at home) and an email address that you check regularly. The College provides an email address for every student if you do not already have one.
You should set up a MyMathLab account on the first day of class in order to begin homework assignments and access the online textbook. See the document immediately below for more information.
This document describes how to set up a MyMathLab account and begin using MyMathLab to do homework and take online quizzes. It also includes a brief description of some of the other features of MyMathLab along with tips to get the most out of MyMathLab.

MyMathLab Temporary Access Codes: If you are waiting for financial aid and cannot purchase an access code on the first day of class, click here to learn how to set up temporary access that will allow you to read the online textbook and begin your coursework on the first day of class so you do not fall behind. Temporary access expires in 14 days. At the end of the 14-day period, you must pay for full access to continue using MyMathLab.
